JAKARTA: PT Al Ijarah Finance Indonesia, Sharia-based multifinance company owned by PT Bank Muamalat Tbk, targeting funding from abroad of Rp150 billion in the second quarter /2012.
Director of Al Ijarah Finance Efrinal Sinaga said the funding from Middle East foreign and will be used to finance heavy equipment.
"We do not set the funding scheme between the local and foreign investors, depending on the accessibility of the funding that we received," said Efrinal, not long ago.
Business financing with Islamic principles which offers by the company consists of motorcycles of 50%, four-wheeled vehicles of 35%, and heavy equipment financing of 15%. Efrinal said heavy equipment is focused on the mining, agriculture, infrastructure, and transportation of trucks sector.
Currently, the company relies on financing from banking loans. The holding company contributes by providing an additional loan of IDR250 billion.
